| Cancun is known as Mexico's
premiere playground, with its beaches, shopping and night life.
Facing east, the opportunity to photograph spectacular sunrises occurs
almost daily. We couldn't resist them, and as a result, have quite a few
nice sunrise pictures. Cancun's high rise hotels line white sand beaches
where water sports such as parasailing are common. Boats carry
people through the mangrove-lined lagoon behind the peninsula
to snorkeling and diving sites nearby. A new aquarium features dolphin
encounters and tanks filled with tropical fish. Though not quiet and
pristine like nearby Cozumel or Isla Mujeres, Cancun still has a lot to
offer.
